How to clean a stand mixer…

[4]

[5]

With holiday baking a sweet memory, now is a great time to clean your stand mixer. Regardless of the brand, the steps are simple and should take no more than five to ten minutes.

[6]

Start with unplugging your mixer – if you need to, toss the mixing bowls and beaters in your dishwasher to give them a good washing.

[7]

Spray the entire mixer down with your favorite non-toxic cleaner (non-toxic because this is something that comes in contact with your food). Alternately you can use hot, soapy water with a clean kitchen rag or towel.

[8]

If you have stuck on particles, you can put a wet rag over the area and let it sit for a few minutes to soften the area.

[9]

Wipe down the entire mixer.

[10]

Then, lift the top and clean under the mixer.

[11]

Don’t forget to clean the backside of the mixer as well.

[12]

Now your mixer is clean and ready for some Valentine’s Day baking!
