Shaklee Giveaway (5 Dinners 1 Hour Blog)
My new friend Toni over at A Bowl Full of Lemons introduced me to Shaklee products. She was so kind to send me an awesome package of Shaklee Basic H2 super concentrated cleaning solution and spray bottles.I am so excited about this product because I am trying to eliminate as many toxins from our home as I can. I have seen “clean” cleaning products but never really thought they were affordable. I made my own window cleaner with rubbing alcohol and vinegar. It works but the smell can take over the house. That can’t be good for us to breath in.
My package from Toni included a bottle of Shaklee Basic H2 and 3 spray bottles for Windows, All purpose Cleaner and Degreaser. This one bottle of H2 is super concentrated and will probably last me a long time. And get this……the 16 oz bottle will make 48 gallons!!!
These are not just any spray bottles. They have the directions right on them so you do not have to remember any special formulas. I also like that my kids and husband can figure out which cleaner to use without asking me. Not that they ever clean but just in case. 🙂
Yep, you read it right, only 2 drops of the H2 in the window cleaner. I quickly tested this cleaner because, well my homemade stinky alcohol/vinegar window cleaner really works good even though it stinks. I did not think there was any way that 2 drops in that 16 oz bottle would get anything clean. I was wrong! I cleaned half of my big mirror in my living room with the Shaklee and asked my husband which side was cleaner (he did not see me clean with the Shaklee) and by far the Shaklee was clearer and brighter. I had no idea my stinky cleaner was streaking. I also put it to the big test of cleaning my laminate floors. I am telling you, NOTHING gets these floors clean without streaking…..until NOW!
I put the degreaser to the test on my slow cooker that sometimes gets all spattered with grease and grime.
I sprayed the degreaser and let it set for a minute or two.
That was cooked on grease and it came right off!!It even worked on my white fridge handles that I can never seem to get clean.
I went to town on my baseboards with the All Purpose Cleaner. I use that one for the counters and my white cabinets which seem to attract EVERYTHING.
Gross, I know.So much better after I used the All Purpose Cleaner. These cabinets are painted and it did not harm the paint at all.

Their vitamins have always been one of my favorite items, but anything for cleaning without harsh chemicals is a win!

I would love the H2 or the basic G…I have really sensitive skin that breaks out super easily, and I have to wear gloves when I’m cleaning because of the harsh chemicals in most cleaning products…

I would LOVE the Scour Off. My stove top is impossible to clean and I hate all of the products that sort of work because of the smell and toxicity.
