Simply shaklee saturday… scour off.

February 19, 2011

Today I’m so happy to be able to share a fabulous Shaklee product with you called Scour Off.  This is quite an amazing product, made from real cherry pits.  So, you may have guessed that it smells delicious.
You can use Scour Off to clean…
Ovens
grout
sinks
tile
copper
cement
tubs
rust
and a ton more!

Scour Off is all natural…

  • Natural ingredients remove the toughest dried-on splatters and spills, burned-on grease, baked-on food, and sticky messes without hazardous chemicals or toxic fumes.
  • Scour Off is made from natural mineral abrasives and biodegradable cleaning agents. It does not contain chlorine, bleach, or dye.
  • Scour Off gently removes stains other cleansers can’t and is great for cleaning tubs, ovens, sinks, and tiles.
  • It will even remove rust, and is great for cleaning these surfaces: copper, grout, cement, ceramic, and imitation marble.
  • Wide-mouth jar makes it easy to use.
Clean Credentials
  • Nontoxic
  • Natural abrasives
  • No harsh chemicals
  • Biodegradable surfactants
  • No phosphates

What Shaklee says about Scour Off…

Here’s an exclusive scouring cleanser that sets a new standard. It’s a paste, so it doesn’t form dust clouds. It cleans stuck-on messes. It even cleans burnt-on food in your oven. And it doesn’t burn off your nose hairs in the process.

I keep my Scour Off under both my kithen & bathroom sinks.

This is my oven before Scour Off…

I coated the oven with Scour Off and scrubbed it with the Miracle Scrubber Pad.

And after Scour Off!

Sally from Are They Twins? (who is also a Shaklee distributor on my team), shared her friend (sabrina’s) experience using Scour Off for the first time… I will let the pictures do the talking here.

Amazing, isn’t it?

Melissa (another Shaklee distributor on my team) from Pembroke Lane shared her success with Scour Off here… What a difference.

Becky from Organizing Made Fun shared her Scour Off experience here… Wowza.  Look at the before and after.

Can you clean the miracle pad like the other sponges? I just used Scour Off yesterday and it worked like a charm! I hate to say I’m excited about cleaning, but I kinda am. (Just please don’t tell my husband!)

  13. Cheryl B. says:

Scour off is fantastic. I used it on a large spot that has been on my basement steps for years (at least 10). I’m not sure what the spot was from but I tried a couple different cleaners over the years and never could get it off. I used Scour Off and left it on the spot for an hour and it started to remove the spot. I had to do a couple applications along with a lot of elbow grease but the spot is finally gone!

  14. Teresa says:

This oven is self cleaning, so isn’t it a bad thing to use any cleanser on it?

I have used it in the past, my distributor quit.
🙁 Loved this product and it lasts a while also!

  15. Toni says:

Teresa, I dont use my self cleaner. I just clean it with scour off. 🙂

  16. Jodi says:

I’ve had this stuff sitting in my cupboard for a year and didn’t know what to do with it! Now I can’t wait to try it out!!!! So glad I came across your blog!!

  17. Cleaning today and using my Scour Off like crazy. That stuff is the BOMB! Can’t live without it.

    Blessings!

  18. Shelly says:

Funny b/c the scour off description says NOT to use it on: stainless steel, marble, silver, brass, aluminum, acrylic, pewter, colorized aluminum, formica, inside the toilet tank, and any other brushed, mirror-like, shiny, or soft finishes.

Seems like it did a fine job on the stainless in the photos 🙂

  19. Toni says:

It works magic on SS!! In this case, dont read the label. lol.

    • Anne says:

Just cleaned my self cleaning oven with scour off because the self cleaning process didn’t clean the worst spots and it turned out amazing!! Super impressed!! It cleaned the glass to a sparkling finish as well (even though the label says don’t use on glass). I was afraid to try it on my stainless steel front dishwasher but I had marks on it that the stainless steel cleaner wouldn’t get rid of. I bit the bullet and tried. The marks are almost completely gone and the dishwasher is as shiny as it was when it was new.

  21. EA says:

I would love to try this. My mother was a Shaklee dist. for years so I am very familiar with Basic H. Did Scour off used to be called At Ease? I have wished I could get some of that for years. I’m glad to have come across your site.

  22. Jon says:

I am with the previous commenter — I’ve been wondering for YEARS if it’s still possibly to buy At Ease…and this does look just like it. Did Shaklee just rename it?

  23. How much of the container did you use to clean the oven? Thanks for sharing this natural product!

  24. Anne says:

I have a question about Scour Off. Can it or can it not be used on shiny surfaces. The directions say: “Surfaces to Avoid: Do not use Scour Off to clean glass, mirrors, stainless steel, marble, silver, brass, aluminum, acrylic, pewter, colorized aluminum, formica, inside the toilet tank, and any other brushed, mirror-like, shiny, or soft finishes.” Yet it seems to have been successfully used on a shiny surface tea kettle, stainless steel stove and exhaust fan.

  25. Pat says:

Did you leave it on for a while and then scrub? I tried some on my ceramic stove top and had to scrub so hard my arm is sore. I am going to tackle the oven next, but need to know if you have to let it sit before scrubbing.
