How to make topiaries | A Bowl Full of Lemons

Link Party “Tuesdays” ~ One project at a time… (week #3 Topiaries)

This week, for my project,  I created 2 topiaries for my mantle.  This project saved me quite a bit of money by doing it myself.

I purchased these topiary stands at Hobby Lobby (40% off for around $6.00).
I used my glue gun and coated a small section at a time.
I purchased the spanish moss at Hobby Lobby as well.
Then I trimmed off the extra moss.
I repeated the same steps with the bottom ball.
I love how the green topiaries add a splash of color.

  10. I made a lollipop topiary for my daughter’s 5th birthday party (Candyland theme). Here is a link to my blog where I’m putting it together. I think the actual pic is on FB though. It was pretty cute, but very heavy. Who would have though!
