It’s time to review another planner and I am super excited to share this one! I got the opportunity to review the long anticipated Vintage Aurora Binder by Franklin Planner. Several years ago, everyone fell in love with this cognac binder and it’s been retired for a long time. After many requests, Franklin Planner answered our wishes and has relaunched it.
It’s a beautiful cognac color and a well made, structured planner.
There’s so much to love about this planner. It has several pockets, two pen loops (planner addicts definitely need that), and 1.5″ gold rings (yessss!). I’m also in love with the layout. A-m-a-z-i-n-g!
The contrast stitching is stunning. It’s my favorite part of the planner.
The planner pictured is classic size. The dimensions are 7.75″ W x 9.5″ H x 2.5″ D. The retail cost is $169.95. It also comes in compact size. (The inserts are Franklin Covey Leadership daily.). Don’t forget to sign up for the Franklin Planner emails. You’ll get 15% off your first order!
One difference between the two planners is the leather. The “new” Aurora is made with full Italian leather and the original was not. Great update!
All in all, this is a well made, classic planner that will last for years. The leather will darken and get better with age. This planner will go to my husband (he’s so excited). I ordered a compact size for myself. I can’t wait to get it!
