Getting inspired to organize…

December 16, 2010
I think the biggest thing that gets me in the mood to organize is seeing others who are successful in doing it. By visiting organizing blogs, reading books, and having the passion to do it myself, I am able to create a space thats functional, organized, and de-cluttered.

Here are some blogs & websites that are most inspiring to me.
(These are not in any particular order)…

Next week I will be sharing my pantry organization. I am really inspired by Roberta, at Con-tain It! She was right on when she organized her pantry.  I will warn you, you can get lost in her blog for a long time! She has great organizing ideas.

Everything is clearly labeled and easily accessible.

And, the second blogger who also really knows how to organize a pantry is Jen at I Heart Organizing. She knows how to make everything pretty when organizing. If it has a label, it also has style!  Make sure you check out her blog too! Thanks for your continuous inspiration Jen.

I will be sharing my pantry organization next week on my blog.  It’s no where near as great as the two above, but it works for us.
For ideas on organizing, I love to walk the isles of
The Container Store. Its one magical place. 😉 What inspires you to organize?

I found you through Roberta at con-tain-it and you’re now in my google reader. See I’m organized…lol…Looking forward to reading backwards and getting some great ideas.

Ahhh…thanks Toni…I’m blushing 😉 AND squeaky clean thanks to my Shaklee products…love them. My newest place for inspiration is spending a day at IKEA…OMG!! I’m not usually a fan of modern furniture but their tools and gadgets for organizing their closets and cupboards are to die for. Whenever we are in Pittsburgh visiting my son or in Charlotte visiting my other son 😉 we go there and spend hours walking around, taking photos (me of course, DH just rolls his eyes) and then we take a break in the cafe and I have to have their Swedish Meatballs…yum! Have a great day, fondly, Roberta

Roberta. I have never been to IKEA. There is one about 2 hrs away… and I have been wanting to go, but I will have to make a day out of it. Im so excited to visit. I keep hearing lots of great things.

  4. Thanks SO much for the shout out! I am beyond antsy to see how your pantry turns out!

    xoxo,
    Jen
