21 Day challenge revisited…

April 7, 2011
Since the 21 day challenge has ended, I have received a ton of emails from “new” readers who are just starting the challenge. I wanted to revisit the 21 days for all of you.  If you have not participated in the challenge, now is a great time to start.  Since the links are now closed, you can share your progress on my new weekly link party (One Project at a Time).

  2. hey! i just started with the 21 day challenge, but skipped a few because I don’t have linen closets and i just arranged the kitchen cabinets. but my desktop’s super neat now!

could you post something on organising bookshelves / shelves in general. i have arranged and rearranged mine, and it just looks messy!

  3. So funny you should post this today. I participated in the first 21 day challenge and was happily organized. However, one major surgery for the husband and caring for him, taxes, work and life in general and I think I need to revisit the challenge yet again. Thanks for re-posting 🙂

  4. I am in awe of your site! Do you happen to have a post about your daily cleaning routine? I have a seven week old and nineteen month old and i am going crazy with not being able to keep on top of messes.

  5. Toni says:

Tara, I will be posting my cleaning routine in the weeks to come. Thanks for joining the challenge!!

The challenge came up at the wrong time for me, as I have been busy with a dejunking and repurposing of a room to become my hobby room. But I was able to do a few of the challenges, and will be doing more when I finish with my hobby room.

Since we put our house on the market, I’ve been doing a ton of this. Most was done in August, house went on in September and now that spring has arrived and it’s getting warmer I’m on to do more!!! Today I actually did some major purging in my office, sitting next to the garbage bag now!! I just started following your site a few days ago and I love it. I try to be highly organized and this gives me more ideas so thanks!!! I’m also crazy about meal planning and LOVED your little binder, that is my next project once my spring purge is finished! I already keep one of receipes I print off Food Network so I’m going to do something like yours!! Thanks for motivating me!!

I did participate in the 21-day challenge, but didn’t make it through all the challenges as we started the process of selling our house. The ones I did complete helped enormously. I think it’s great that you have offered this post for new bloggers to check out all the ideas. I will definitely be referring back here often as we move forward on our move. I will be taking a lot of ideas from here to set up my new spaces the right way from the start. Thanks for all your helpful ideas.

I just finished the 21 day challenge and it felt so good to go through my house and purge, clean, and organize! It was such a helpful challenge. THanks Toni for creating this challenge. Now I have family and friends asking for me to come do their houses!

  12. Terry says:

I can only organize one area a week otherwise it’s so overwhelming…I’m your newest follower, can’t wait to check out more of your blog.

Hi Toni, I found this lovely piece of blogging gorgeounsness via Pinterest and finally NOW I´m taking the challenge, too. Ok, it´s the middle of the month, I plan to start a daily blogging marathon from October 1st til Halloween, but who says that one can´t challenge 2 projects at a time? And your daily projects are mostly quickl done. My house is so ready for a huge organization & clean up run. Since I´m mum to a 9 month old boy, you can imagine, that there is way more chaos than time to dael with it. Do you happen to have any tips about how to challenge that as well? “good moms have sticky floors…”, uhm, yes,I allready learned and pinned that ;), but is there a good tip to get a better time management with a baby&household? Before I forget: you cann follow up on my 21 day challenge progress here: http://panpancrafts.blogspot.com/.

I just wanted you to know that your link was recently shared with me, and I’m taking up your challenge on my blog – http://operation-domestication.blogspot.com/

I am a mom to a 4 year old and a one year old, and we recently moved to a new house. I am notorious in my circle of friends and family for being “undomesticated”, and I think your 21-day challenge is the perfect way to start!

Thank you so much for this! 🙂 I can’t wait to look through the rest of your blog for inspiration and ideas!
