New Years Resolutions!

December 26, 2010

I would LOVE for you to Vote for my blog!!

Thank you so much! Now on to todays post…

I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas. We did!  We spent the day with my family (in my hometown), ate a lot of good food (a little too much), and enjoyed watching all of the kids play with their Christmas treasures.

Christmas is now over and a new year is upon us soon.  Do you have your New Years Resolutions set?  I do!

My books arrived in the mail today!  These are going to help me succeed with my New Years Resolutions.

I have been thinking about my New Year’s Resolutions and have decided I’m making 3 resolutions this year.

1.  Organized Life
2. Clean Home
3. Clean Body

I jump-started these resolutions early with the creation of my new blog… A Bowl Full of Lemons.  I am absolutely amazed at what I have acccomplished in the 4 weeks I have had this blog.  God is working miracles in my life and I am so grateful and blessed!

I started my “Organized Life” resolution early and I’m also fulfilling the next resolution as well, creating a “Clean Home”.

I decided that I wanted my home to be clean and free of toxic products, for the sake of my family.  So, I decided to purchase Shaklee’s Get Clean products. I loved them so much, I wanted to share them with others to show how they too can create a clean enviornment for their families… so I became an independent distributor for Shaklee.  Shaklee has also been a blessing in our lives.

I also purchased a great book called Cleaning Plain and Simple.  This book is for people who want a clean home and a clean life! It was perfect for me. It has cleaning schedules, organizing tips, and LOTS of other neat ideas on how to get your life cleaned! Im excited to get reading!

Well.. two down and one to go!  This last resolution was a no brainer… My third resolution is to create a Clean Body!   The only way I know how to do this is to eat whole living foods.

Kris Carr, the author of Crazy Sexy Cancer (who is living with cancer now), wrote a new book (which I have been anxiously anticipating) called Crazy Sexy Diet.   Instead of treating her cancer with traditional medical and pharmacutical means… she decided to make Whole Foods her personal pharmacy. She waived the option to toxify her body with drugs, radiation, and chemotherapy.  Kris has been living with liver and lung cancer for almost 8 years… by holistic treatments only.  She is an amazing, empowering person, whom I have learned so much from.  She has a website called www.crazysexylife.com.

“Your whole life is about to be amazing!”

Lots of recipes!

There is a FABULOUS section about supplements.

So, on January 1st, I will be beginning my resolution with Kris’s Crazy Sexy Diet.  I will start out with her 21 day cleanse.  My husband is also joining me in this adventure… and I would love it if YOU would join me as well.

If you are interested in trying out the Crazy Sexy Diet with me, the book is available at Amazon.com.  I sell it here on my blog. When I ordered my book, it only took 2 days to arrive in the mail with free shipping, so you will have it by January 1st!

*By purchasing your books from my Amazon link, you are helping to support me, in getting my life organized… and helping to inspire you through my blog! I greatly appreciate your support!

I asked my daughter if she wanted to do the 21 day cleanse with me and she looked at me like I was crazy (not sexy)!  ;

What are your New Years Resolutions?

But I’m not blogging about mine…got too many other things on the burner for the new year. Fondly, Roberta

I LOVE juicing… You will love your juicer. It will make you healthier! Blog when you can, with the 12 day challenge. I would love to see what you can do!

  5. Toni says:

Roberta, I meant the 21 day challenge. 😉

  6. This is a great looking challenge. Are you going to have a sign-up like you are for the organizing challenge?

I have this book on hold at the library but I’m not sure it will be available January 1st. I did get a gift certificate for $20 from Amazon and I’m seriously considering ordering it so I can start with you on the 1st.

  7. Toni says:

That is such a great idea… but im not sure how successful it would be? Everyone would have to have the book to do the challenge. I have Kris Carrs first book, and I would DEFINITELY purchase this one. ITs something you will refer back to over and over! I LOVE it, and cant get enough of it! I would be so happy if you did the challenge with me… and we can email back and forth on our progress and mishaps. Would you like to join me?

  8. Candace says:

I love your kitchen! 🙂 Also, I love challenges! They always give me the extra kick I need, thanks!

  9. Oooh, I want that book! I just may have to splurge!

Oh, and I clicked your link to sign up to become a Shaklee member, but it wasn’t free… is there something I was missing? I would love to join!

    Let me know,
    xoxo,
    Jen

  10. Toni says:

Jen, Its free, but doesn’t show it until the end. I promise. You have to spend at least $70.oo in order for your membership to be free though. So, you will get a free membership, 15% off your order AND free shipping on me! (you’re saving at least $40 with the 15% disc.)

Let me know if you need any more help.

    Hugs,
    Toni

  11. I assume this cleanse takes out dairy and wheat products(as most cleanses do), and I am free of both…

I’ll have to check this out.

Good resolutions. I have some recipes that may help you after your cleanse…

    Happy New Year
