We had a ice/snow storm last night. So, Im without power… maybe for the next few days. I ran over (almost killed myself on the ice) to my friends house to get a shower and post this for my readers. I am getting all of your emails and I can see my blog comments, but I cannot post on my blog until the power comes back on. Thanks for following and visiting my blog. I love your sweet emails. Pray for us, that our power comes back on soon. 🙂

Oh, that is no fun! We got ice too, and fortunately it stopped before we lost power. Hope you get power again soon! We will miss you!
Thats not good, been there before we had some stuff happen in 2008 (google if you would like to when u have power again New Hartford, IA May 25th / June 8th 2008 :() so I know what its like its really hard for the kids. Will be wishing for u that it comes back soon.

Hope it won’t be out too long. I was without power for 2 days last week and the house got very cold very quickly. Plus my house is super creepy at night.

when things like that happen to me, I do my best to respond the way children do… “This is fun! what an adventure!” they find so much joy in the things that cause us stress… I pray that you are enjoying this power outage 🙂

Sounds like your power is back on, I’m glad. we lost power for 5 days last winter; we have a generator, but it was still a lonnnnng 5 days!
